1 minute agoCroatian Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic has said his country cannot hold down migrants who wish to move on toward Western Europe.
He said that "our resources are limited." He added that "we will not and cannot keep them in Croatia and no one will make us do that."
Mr Milanovic said authorities would try to register as many as they could in accordance with EU rules but that "if there are more, we will not be able to register them". 52 minutes ago
匈牙利, whose police yesterday tear gassed refugees, has accused Croatia of mistreating those making their way towards its borders.
"What is Croatia doing? Instead of providing the proper care to immigrants and registering them, it sends them on towards 匈 and Slovenia," said Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto.

There will be no repeat of 匈's tactics in Slovenia, where refugees will be given a "humanitarian welcome", according to one of the country's MEPs, Tanja Fajon.
