Wie ein Sprecher der Nobelmarke am Montag sagte, sind weltweit 2,1 Millionen Modelle betroffen. Der fragliche Motor sei in den Varianten mit 1,6 und 2,0 Litern Hubraum als Turbodiesel in den Typen A1, A3, A4 und A6, dem Sportwagen TT sowie den Gelaendewagen Q3 und Q5 verbaut worden.

Audi says 2.1 mln cars affected by diesel emission scandal
BERLIN, SEPT 28
Audi said 2.1 million cars worldwide were fitted with the software that
allowed parent Volkswagen to cheat U.S. emission tests.

Some 1.42 million Audi vehicles with so-called EU5 engines are affected in
Western Europe, with 577,000 in Germany and almost 13,000 in the United
States, a spokesman for Ingolstadt-based Audi said on Monday.

Affected model lines include the A1, A3, A4, A5, A6, TT, Q3 and Q5, the
spokesman said.

VW said last week around 11 million cars of its group brands worldwide are
affected by the diesel emissions scandal. (Reporting by Andreas Cremer;

VW's Skoda says 1.2 million cars affected globally by emissions issue

HAMBURG - Volkswagen's Czech volume division Skoda said on Monday 1.2 million of its cars are affected by diesel-engine manipulations that have rocked the German automaker.

VW's flagship luxury brand Audi said earlier on Monday that 2.1 million models are fitted with the software that allowed VW to cheat U.S. emissions tests.

VW has said a total of 11 million cars from the multi-brand group are affected. REUTERS
