The 2025 China Medical Development Conference was held in Beijing from April 19 to April 20, where the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and healthcare has become the center of attention. The event brought together leading voices in mathematics, AI, medicine, public health and pharmacy to discuss innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and policy directions to drive the medicine sector forward in the AI age.

4月19日至20日，聚焦“人工智能（AI）+医疗”的2025年中国医学发展大会在北京召开。大会汇聚来自数学、人工智能、医学、公共卫生、药学等多学科的顶尖专家，共同探讨人工智能与医学深度融合的创新路径与发展方向。

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an important driving force for the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation, and will have a profound impact on global economic and social development and the progress of human civilization. China attaches great importance to the development of AI, actively promotes the deep integration of the Internet, big data and AI with the real economy, cultivates and strengthens the intelligent industry, and steps up the development of new quality productive forces, to provide new driving forces for high-quality development. China is willing to work with other countries to seize the opportunities brought about by the progress in digitalization, networking and smart technologies; deepen international cooperation in AI development and governance; and strive to push for the healthy development of AI, promote world economic growth and improve the well-being of the people in all countries.

人工智能是新一轮科技革命和产业变革的重要驱动力量，将对全球经济社会发展和人类文明进步产生深远影响。中国高度重视人工智能发展，积极推动互联网、大数据、人工智能和实体经济深度融合，培育壮大智能产业，加快发展新质生产力，为高质量发展提供新动能。中国愿同世界各国一道，把握数字化、网络化、智能化发展机遇，深化人工智能发展和治理国际合作，为推动人工智能健康发展、促进世界经济增长、增进各国人民福祉而努力。

In the face of rapidly evolving new-generation AI technologies, China shall give full play to the advantages of the new system for mobilizing resources nationwide, uphold self-reliance and self-strengthening,prioritize application-oriented development, and promote the healthy and orderly advancement of the country's AI sector toward a beneficial, safe and equitable direction.

面对新一代人工智能技术快速演进的新形势，要充分发挥新型举国体制优势，坚持自立自强，突出应用导向，推动我国人工智能朝着有益、安全、公平方向健康有序发展。

AI, as a strategic technology leading the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation, has profoundly changed the way humans produce and live. The Party Central Committee attaches great importance to the development of AI, and has improved top-level design and strengthened implementation efforts in recent years, thereby driving a holistic and systematic advancement of the country's comprehensive AI strength.

人工智能作为引领新一轮科技革命和产业变革的战略性技术，深刻改变人类生产生活方式。党中央高度重视人工智能发展，近年来完善顶层设计、加强工作部署，推动我国人工智能综合实力整体性、系统性跃升。

Breakthroughs must be achieved in fundamental theories, methodologies and tools to gain a first-mover advantage and secure a competitive edge in AI.

人工智能领域要占领先机、赢得优势，必须在基础理论、方法、工具等方面取得突破。
