The Belt and Road Initiative is the abbreviation of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road.

“一带一路” 是 “丝绸之路经济带” 和 “21 世纪海上丝绸之路” 的简称

Proposed by China in 2013, it is a comprehensive international initiative with the core principles of extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits, which aims to promote global connectivity, advance international cooperation and pursue common development.

由中国于 2013 年提出，它是以共商、共建、共享为核心原则的综合性国际倡议，旨在促进全球互联互通、推动国际合作与共同发展

Initially focusing on 65 countries along the routes (covering East Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, Central Asia, West Asia, and Central and Eastern Europe), the initiative has now expanded to over 150 countries and more than 30 international organizations worldwide.

初始聚焦 “沿线 65 个国家”（涵盖东亚、东南亚、南亚、中亚、西亚、中东欧），目前已延伸至全球 150 多个国家和 30 多个国际组织。

   Area: 491,200 square kilometers



● 人口：约 761.88 万（截至 2025 年 5 月），主要民族有土库曼族、乌兹别克族、俄罗斯族等。

Population: Approximately 7.6188 million (as of May 2025), with major ethnic groups including Turkmens , Uzbeks, and Russians.

● 首都：阿什哈巴德

Capital: Ashgabat

● 语言：官方语言为土库曼语，俄语为通用语。

Languages: Turkmen is the official language; Russian is widely spoken as a common language.

       ● 历史渊源：土库曼斯坦曾是古代丝绸之路的重要节点，先后历经波斯、突厥、蒙古等不同势力统治或影响，不同文化在这里相互交融，形成了独特的文化底蕴

Historical Origins: Turkmenistan was an important hub on the ancient Silk Road. It has successively been ruled or influenced by various powers such as Persia, the Turks, and the Mongols, where diverse cultures converged and blended, forging a unique cultural heritage.

      ● 气候特点：

夏季（6-8月）酷热，平均高温35-45℃（卡拉库姆沙漠地区甚至超过50℃）；冬季（12-2月）寒冷，平均气温-5-5℃；昼夜温差可达15-20℃。

Climate characteristics：

Summers (June–August) are scorching hot, with an average high temperature of 35–45°C (even exceeding 50°C in the Karakum Desert); winters (December–February) are cold, with an average temperature of -5–5°C; the diurnal temperature range can reach 15–20°C.

      ●文学艺术：土库曼文学有着丰富的口头传承传统，《库曼史诗》是土库曼民族的英雄史诗。音乐风格独特，常用乐器包括冬不拉等，舞蹈动作优美而富有力量感，如“巴克希”舞。

Literature and Art: Turkmen literature boasts a rich tradition of oral transmission, with The Epic of Komán being the national heroic epic of the Turkmen people. Its music features a unique style, with commonly used instruments including the dombra and others. The dances are graceful yet powerful, such as the "Bakhshi" dance.

      ● 民俗风情：土库曼人热情好客，见面时通常行握手礼，亲朋好友之间会拥抱并亲吻脸颊。

Customs and Traditions: The Turkmen people are warm and hospitable. They usually greet each other with a handshake, while relatives and friends embrace and kiss each other on the cheeks.

       ● 传统手工艺：地毯编织是土库曼斯坦的传统技艺，地毯图案精美复杂，色彩绚丽，承载着土库曼人的历史和生活，是土库曼斯坦的标志性艺术品。

Traditional Handicrafts: Carpet weaving is a time-honored craft of Turkmenistan. The carpets feature exquisite and intricate patterns with vibrant colors, embodying the Turkmens' history and way of life. They are iconic works of art of Turkmenistan.
