Job description:
The Center for Gravitational Experiments (CGE) at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, invites applications for faculty positions at all levels, opening for experienced scientists trained within precision measurements and related disciplines. Candidates should have strong expertise in either of the following fields:

(1) gravitational theory: gravity (classical and quantum), astronomy, and cosmology
(2) gravitational experiments: ground-based gravitational experiments, space-borne gravitational experiments, gravitational waves detection in space;
(3) atomic, molecular and optical physics: cold-atom physics, optical frequency standard, quantum optics;
(4) geophysics: seismology, Earth gravity, geodesy, geophysical instrumentation and exploration;
(5) precision measurement techniques: laser interferometry, capacitive sensing, SQUID, MEMS, cryogenics, electronics.

Salary(Basic + Award):
Postdoc: 120,000 - 150,000 RMB
Junior:  130,000 - 230,000 RMB
Senior:  160,000 - 260,000 RMB
Further benefit is subject to negotiation for serious candidates.

The Center for Gravitational Experiments (CGE) is currently the only laboratory that engages in gravitational experiments in China. We aim at building up an international leading group in precision measurement, serving fundamental science and high-end technology. With the foundation established during the past 30 years, the center is now standing at a decisive and promising position for doing more advanced scientific and technological research in future.
