值此联合国成立80周年和联合国大学成立50周年之际，联合国大学澳门研究所将于2025年10月24日（联合国日）举办人工智能大会2025。本次大会以"人工智能为人类服务：构建公平的数字未来"为主题，旨在跨越地理、经济和文化鸿沟，确保人工智能的益处能够惠及全人类。大会将汇聚全球约500名来自学术界、产业界、政府和民间社会的代表，包括高级别主旨演讲嘉宾，共同参与约30场围绕三大主题支柱展开的会议，进行深入讨论并产生促进公平数字未来的影响力成果。

为鼓励大学生参会，提升大学生的人工智能素养与认知水平，大会组委会精心策划组织了这次AI素养培训营。这是一次极其难得且宝贵的学习机会，不仅让学生能够亲身接触到中国大湾区唯一设立的联合国机构，还能够通过与国际专家学者的交流互动，深入了解前沿人工智能技术及其在促进全球可持续发展目标实现过程中的创新应用与实践案例。通过参与这次高水平的国际会议，同学们将有机会开阔视野，提升跨文化交流能力，并更加深刻地理解AI技术如何在全球范围内推动社会进步与可持续发展。

本项目旨在提升大学生人工智能素养及对联合国可持续发展目标的理解，主要内容包括：

参加联合国大学澳门研究所举办的第二届人工智能大会参与系列专业工作坊活动与国际专家学者交流互动探索澳门人文及气候环境

大会分议题

缩小数字鸿沟的人工智能研究：探索推动可行洞见和政策建议的研究与学术成果，例如关于人工智能对就业、生计、气候变化、人类安全和伦理的影响。人工智能时代的包容性和能力建设：促进能力建设倡议和合作，确保人工智能技术对所有社区都是可获取的和有益的，展示政府、组织和社区团结一致确保人工智能的益处具有可及性和包容性的成功案例。通过协同作用和跨学科创新导航人工智能生态系统：审视与人工智能生态系统相关的问题，包括不同领域和技术之间的协同作用，并开发促进负责任创新和跨学科合作的框架。

What brought you to a career in technology at the United Nations?

The noble mandate of UN to serve the people, sustain global peace, and support global development.

What has been your favorite technology project or initiative at the United Nations and why? What was your contribution?

It's a series progressive projects with the theme of providing an enterprise collaboration platform to facilitate better and easier information creation, sharing, distribution, storage, and protection, a platform that support the full information for the business entities to do their daily job.

What advice would you give women interested in pursuing a field in technology?

ICT field, as all other STEM fields, requires robust knowledge, scientific logic and critical thinking. Hardworking and professionalism are the 2 very important building blocks for a successful career in this field. In addition, be persistent, open to change, learn from effective leaders, proactively connect to the business domains you are supporting, and most importantly enjoy the work.

MIN YANG

Researcher

UNU Macau

Min Yang is a researcher at the United Nations University Institute in Macau who is passionate about building a sustainable and peaceful future for all through knowledge generating and sharing. Before joining the United Nations University Institute in Macau, she worked for the Social and Human Sciences Sector in UNESCO.. Min has experience of working in different media organizations as a journalist and editor. She was awarded the Global Governance Futures 2030 fellowship over the course of 2018 and 2019, and the German-China media ambassador in 2015. As a freelance writer for the Goethe-Institut China, she published articles on the humanities and environmental protection. Min holds a bachelor of information management and information system, a master of journalism and communication, and a PhD of communication studies.

Ally S. Nyamawa

Researcher

UNU Macau

Nyamawe is a computer scientist with over 15 years of experience in academia and research. He holds a PhD degree in Computer Science and Technology. Currently, Nyamawe is a researcher at the United Nations University Institute in Macau (UNU Macau), focusing on the intersection of AI and Sustainable Development. Before joining UNU Macau, Nyamawe was a senior lecturer at the University of Dodoma, Tanzania, where he contributed to advancing the university’s research agenda through AI-related projects. In recognition of his effort to accelerate AI in Africa, Nyamawe was awarded the Seed Grant for New African Principal Investigators by The World Academy of Sciences under UNESCO funding in 2022. He is passionate about AI for Social Good and is committed to promoting responsible AI technologies.
