今日，宁波诺丁汉大学（简称“宁诺”）深度参与的《联合国全球契约2025年进展报告》由联合国全球契约组织正式发布。该报告由宁诺会计学教授、诺丁汉大学案例创新中心（简称“案例创新中心”）主任宋会敏博士主编——这也是继去年她携团队撰写的《“二十年二十佳”在华企业可持续发展案例集》发布后，案例创新中心与联合国全球契约组织再度联袂推出的极具国际影响力和权威性的报告。这代表了联合国机构对宁诺的高度信任，更体现着学校在全球可持续发展领域的学术权威与智库担当。



联合国全球契约2025年进展报告



《联合国全球契约2025年进展报告》阐释了“可持续基础设施建设助力‘一带一路’，加速实现可持续发展目标”行动平台（简称“一带一路”行动平台）在推动全球可持续发展方面所发挥的关键作用，系统性呈现了其在基础设施建设领域带来的切实进展与全球影响。

以今年5月在印度尼西亚召开的首届全球企业共建高质量“一带一路”峰会为蓝本，报告深入剖析了绿色能源、数字基础设施、低碳技术创新等关键领域的代表性项目，揭示了“一带一路”行动平台如何通过创新的合作方式有效推动联合国可持续发展目标在“一带一路”沿线国家落地，为推动企业践行社会责任、共建高质量“一带一路”提供了理论依据和实施框架。案例创新中心凭借扎实的研究能力与丰富的案例积淀，成功将一线实践经验转化为具备全球适用性的学术框架和行动指南。

宁诺商学院院长邝国威教授在报告寄语中指出：“作为培养未来领袖的教育者，我们从‘一带一路’行动平台模式中汲取了重要启示。现代商科教育必须将可持续发展、伦理型领导力和跨文化能力作为核心素养。我们致力于培养学生的这些能力，同时鼓励更多企业加入这场变革，通过负责任的商业实践和创新合作，共建更具韧性和包容性的全球经济。”

成立两年来，案例创新中心已迅速成为推动全球可持续发展议程的重要力量。“作为联合国全球契约组织的长期知识合作伙伴，我们将继续深耕可持续商业与全球治理前沿，不断深化与国际组织的合作，为实现‘更好商业、更好世界’贡献宁诺智慧。”宋会敏教授说。

Driving high-quality development of the Belt and Road: UN report led by UNNC makes global debut

Today, the United Nations Global Compact 2025 Progress Report is officially released worldwide by the United Nations Global Compact. Led by Dr Song Huimin, Professor of Practice in Accounting at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) Business School and Director of the University of Nottingham Case Innovation Centre (NCIC), this marks another internationally influential flagship report commissioned by the United Nations Global Compact from her and her team. It follows last year’s release of 20 Case Examples of Private Sector's Sustainable Development in China for 20 Years, further demonstrating UNNC’s academic authority and think tank leadership in the field of global sustainable development.

The United Nations Global Compact 2025 Progress Report systematically presents the phased achievements and global impact of the “Sustainable Infrastructure for the Belt and Road Initiative to Accelerate the Achievement of Sustainable Development Goals” Action Platform (BRIAP) since its launch in 2020.

Drawing on the First Global Enterprise Summit on Jointly Building a High-Quality Belt and Road Initiative, held in Indonesia in May 2025, the report provides an in-depth analysis of representative projects in key sectors such as green energy, digital infrastructure, and low-carbon technology. It shows how the BRIAP has effectively advanced the UN Sustainable Development Goals in partner countries through innovative collaborations, offering both a theoretical foundation and an actionable framework to support enterprises in fulfilling their social responsibilities and co-building a high-quality Belt and Road. The NCIC has leveraged strong research capabilities and a rich repository of case studies to successfully transform practical, on-the-ground experience into universally applicable academic frameworks and action guidelines.

In a message for the report, Professor Kok Wei Khong, Dean of Nottingham University Business School China, stated: “As educators preparing future leaders, we draw important lessons from BRIAP’s approach. Modern business education must integrate sustainability, ethical leadership, and cross-cultural competence at its core. We are committed to developing these competencies in our students while encouraging more enterprises to join this transformative movement. Together, through responsible business practices and innovative partnerships, we can build a more resilient and inclusive global economy that benefits all.”

Established just two years ago, the NCIC has rapidly emerged as a key force in advancing the global sustainable development agenda. “As a long-term knowledge partner of the UN Global Compact, we will continue to explore the frontiers of sustainable business and global governance, deepen collaboration with international organisations, and contribute UNNC’s wisdom toward achieving Better Business, Better World” said Dr Song Huimin.
