“Golden Seagull” Promotion Ceremony Honors Chinese Documentary Films in Zhuhai

从光影之中，听人民心声；于南海之滨，听时代回响。10月27日晚，第四届华语纪录电影大会“金海鸥”推优盛典暨闭幕式在广东珠海举行。“青春之城、活力之都”珠海，与全球华语纪录电影人一起，共同见证一年一度华语纪录电影的荣耀时刻。

The “Golden Seagull” Promotion Ceremony and Closing Ceremony of the 4th Chinese Documentary Film Festival were held in Zhuhai, Guangdong, on the evening of Oct. 27, bringing together documentary filmmakers across the Chinese-speaking world to celebrate this year’s distinguished achievements in Chinese-language documentary filmmaking.

本届大会的纪录电影征集推荐活动共收到40部影片。经推荐委员会初选，共有20部影片入围作品类推荐，11部影片入围单项类推荐。其中，《您的声音》获年度特别推荐纪录电影作品。《山河为证》《父辈的天空》《中华白海豚》《胡阿姨的花园》《爷爷奶奶那些事》《山海情（舞台纪录电影·歌剧）》《明月照他乡》等纪录电影分别获作品类推荐。《山河为证》导演于鹏、韩金娜、张宁及《神奇动物在高原》《光之子》《隐者山河》等纪录电影主创获单项类推荐。

For this year’s festival, the Chinese Documentary Film Recommendation Initiative selected a total of 31 outstanding works from 40 submissions. Among them, Hotline Beijing was honored with the distinction of Annual Special Recommended Documentary. The 20 documentaries, including Mountains and Rivers Bearing Witness, The Hump, Chinese White Dolphin, Ms. Hu’s Garden, Never Too Late, Minning Town (Stage Documentary & Opera), and The Moon is Yours, were recognized in the Work Category. In the Individual Category, 11 individuals were commended, including Yu Peng, Han Jinnai, and Zhang Ning, directors of Mountains and Rivers Bearing Witness, as well as principal creators of documentaries such as Magical Animals on the Plateau, Daughter of the Light, and Hidden Landscapes.

中国电影资料馆、广州市广播电视台、蒸腾影业（北京）有限公司获年度特别贡献纪录电影机构。

A special honor was conferred to acknowledge the outstanding contributions from documentary production institutions, including the China Film Archive, Guangzhou Radio and Television Station, and Zheng Teng Pictures (Beijing) Co., Ltd.

盛典现场同时宣布《山河为证》《她是红线女》《父辈的天空》《神奇动物在高原》《中华白海豚》《光语者：独步南极》《您的声音》等23部作品被“国家影像典藏工程”永久收藏，让时代的动人瞬间凝固成文献样本，为后世留下宝贵的精神财富。

During the ceremony, it was announced that 23 productions, including Mountains and Rivers Bearing Witness, Marvelous Hong, The Hump, Magical Animals on the Plateau, Chinese White Dolphin, Light Chaser, and Hotline Beijing, will be permanently archived under the National Video Archive Project. This initiative serves to preserve the touching moments from different eras as archival records, thereby safeguarding invaluable cultural and spiritual heritage for future generations.

作为华语纪录电影大会的主体单元，本届“印象珠海”短视频征集活动收到来自全国各地及海外的海量作品，遴选出10件作品入围并给予扶持。《北山拾音》《外婆的秘密》《耕海牧渔·不舍昼夜》《绿茵少年时》四部作品，获“印象珠海”短视频推荐作品。

As a core unit of the festival, this year’s “Impression of Zhuhai” short video collection event shortlisted 10 works from a large number of works from across China and overseas, and provided support. Four works—Beishan Sound Walk, Grandma’s Secret, Cultivating Marine Resources and Farming the Sea: Regardless of Day and Night, and Youth on the Green Field—won the accolades of “Recommended Works.”

整场盛典以童声合唱、诗歌朗诵、戏曲联唱等多种艺术形式巧妙串联，生动呈现了中华文化的深厚底蕴、时代发展的铿锵步伐与人民群众的质朴心声。这不仅是对纪录电影人光荣与梦想的集中致敬，更深刻彰显了新时代里纪录电影工作者扎根现实、记录时代、服务人民的初心使命，以及他们精益求精的专业精神和勇于创新的不懈追求。

The ceremony was integrated through a variety of artistic expressions, including children’s choir performances, poetry recitations, and a medley of traditional Chinese operas, effectively showcasing the profound heritage of Chinese culture, the dynamic spirit of the times, and the authentic voices of the people. This honored documentary filmmakers’ achievements and aspirations, reaffirming their core mission in the new era: to stay grounded in reality, document the times, serve the public, and pursue excellence through continuous innovation.

盛典上，一场特别的致敬环节感人至深。纪录电影导演们手持鲜花，将敬意献给一群平凡的劳动者——北京12345“金牌话务员”、澳门传承粤剧的一线教师、守护大熊猫野化回归的饲养师、“90后”返乡创业新农人、海上作业的大国工匠以及来自河南商丘的唢呐非遗传承人。他们是各行各业普通劳动者的缩影，体现出用双手打造生活、创造不凡的精神力量。

A special tribute session was held during the ceremony. Directors of documentary films, holding bouquets, paid heartfelt homage to a group of exemplary ordinary workers: outstanding operator of the Beijing 12345 Hotline, Macao-based educators dedicated to preserving Cantonese opera, breeders overseeing the reintroduction of giant pandas into the wild, post-90s rural entrepreneurs returning to their hometowns to launch agricultural ventures, master craftsmen operating in offshore environments, and inheritors of the intangible cultural heritage of the Suona, a traditional Chinese wind instrument, from Henan Province. These individuals exemplify diligent workers in various fields, showing how dedication and perseverance lead to meaningful lives and remarkable achievements.

中央广播电视总台、中国文学艺术界联合会、中共广东省委宣传部指导，中央新闻纪录电影制片厂（集团）、中国电影家协会、中共珠海市委宣传部主办，中国电影家协会纪录电影工作委员会和珠海传媒集团承办的华语纪录电影大会，通过纪录电影作品推荐、焦点对话、新片推介、影片展映、观摩交流等系列活动，为华语纪录电影工作者提供作品展示、思想交流与团结协作的重要平台，以光影为桥连接历史与未来、沟通中国与世界，提升中华文明传播力影响力。

Through a series of initiatives—including documentary recommendations, focused dialogues, new film promotions, screenings, and observational exchanges—the festival serves as a vital platform for Chinese documentary filmmakers to present their works, exchange insights, and foster collaboration. Utilizing light and shadow as a medium, it bridges history and the future, connects China with the world, and enhances the communicative power and global influence of Chinese civilization. Guided by the China Media Group, the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and the Publicity Department of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee, the festival was jointly hosted by the China Central Newsreel and Documentary Film Studio (Group), the China Film Association, and the Publicity Department of the CPC Zhuhai Municipal Committee and organized by the Documentary Film Committee of the China Film Association and Zhuhai Media Group.
