Last week, at SUIS JKEMW successfully held its "AI Week" . Through interdisciplinary integration, students explored the artificial intelligence in practice, truly realizing our educational philosophy of "student-centered" innovative learning.
上周,我校成功举办首届“AI周”主题活动,通过跨学科融合的方式,让学生在实践中探索人工智能的无限可能,真正实现了“以学生为中心”的创新教育理念。

Using AI to design the Ideal Campus
Students embarked on a unique "Future Campus" design challenge. They first used AI tools to conduct in-depth research on eco-friendly and engaging campus facilities and sought innovative solutions from AI for common school problems.
学生们进行了一场别开生面的“未来校园”设计挑战。他们首先使用AI工具深入研究环保且有趣的校园设施,并针对学校常见问题向AI寻求创新解决方案。
"We asked AI to list the most common space utilization issues in schools, then requested it to provide design ideas that are both sustainable and fun," explained the DT teacher Mr. Nico.
“我们让AI列出了学校中最常见的空间利用问题,然后请它提供既可持续又有趣味性的设计思路,”DT老师Mr. Nico解释道,
"This process not only honed the students' research skills but also cultivated their critical thinking—they needed to evaluate the feasibility and innovation of AI's suggestions."

Based on the research, students used Tinkercad software to create 3D models of their ideal campuses. These models have now been 3D printed, and in DT class, students are busy creating enlarged versions of these designs using wood, transforming digital concepts into physical models.
基于AI生成的研究成果,学生们使用Tinkercad软件创建了理想校园的3D模型。如今,这些模型已被3D打印出来,而在设计科技课上,学生们正忙着用木材制作这些设计的放大版本,将数字构想转化为实体模型。

This semester, we launched a brand-new "AI Music" course, teaching students the "Art of Prompting AI Music." In this class, students learn how to write text instructions (called "prompts") to tell an AI music generator what kind of song or sound they want to create.

Poetry Slam
G7 students have been studying the Triangular Slave Trade. Building on this theme, they were tasked with combining history and geography to use AI in creating videos or infographics explaining slavery.
七年级学生一直在研究三角奴隶贸易。结合这一主题,他们被要求将历史与地理相结合,使用AI创建解释奴隶制的视频或信息图表。
Students could choose to research the Triangular Slave Trade or investigate modern or historical slavery from around the world.

By using AI tools to create visual content, students not only deepened their understanding of complex historical events but also mastered the ability to transform abstract concepts into compelling narratives.
