丝路青年是共建“一带一路”的受益者、主力军和攻坚队。丝路国际智库、丝路青年论坛、丝路百科杂志社组建编委会，连续出版《2021年“一带一路”青年发展报告》《“一带一路”十周年青年发展报告》《2024年“一带一路”青年发展报告》，开创新的智库研究领域——丝路青年学。截至目前，中国全国人大常委会副委员长、全国政协副主席，以及尼泊尔副总理、尼泊尔驻华大使、多米尼克驻华大使、塞拉利昂驻华大使、牙买加驻华大使、白俄罗斯驻华公使、科摩罗驻华大使等100多位领导作为嘉宾，以及中国、美国、印度、新加坡、斯里兰卡、巴基斯坦、孟加拉国、南非、哈萨克斯坦、泰国、马来西亚、法国、德国、埃及、加纳、牙买加、印度、冈比亚、芬兰、尼日利亚、赞比亚、马尔代夫等数十个国家的丝路青年参与相关活动和项目，中央电视台、新华社、中国日报、中国青年报、中国一带一路网、法国世界报、泰晤士报、纽约每日新闻、欧洲时报、华尔街时报等境内外几百家媒体报道。

《“一带一路”青年发展报告（2026）》（主编：于洪君、许进、史志钦。执行主编：杨东平、刘洋）。作为“十五五”重点出版物，计划2026年9月出版和召开成果发布，以“赓续鸿篇，青年有为：面向‘十五五’的高质量共建‘一带一路’”为主题，总结评估丝路青年参与“中国支持高质量共建“一带一路”的八项行动”的新成就新挑战，为读者描绘新时代“一带一路”青年担当、青年实践、青年创新，也为国内外政府、企事业单位、社会组织、青年组织等共建“一带一路”与青年合作提供参考。

现结合《报告》大纲，向您邀约中文或英文稿1篇，可选主题：丝路青年主导的实践案例（1500字以内）、丝路青年话丝路（个人学习工作感悟300字以内）、相关领域专题报告（5000字以内）。有关稿件经编委会修订后刊于《“一带一路”青年发展报告（2026）》和《丝路百科》杂志。编委会向作者赠送报告、纪念品，邀请作者参与报告成果发布和丝路青年论坛相关活动。

Call for Papers

Youth Development Report on the Belt and Road (2026)

The Silk Road youth are not only beneficiaries but also the main force and task force in the joint pursuit of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). The Silk Road International Think Tank, the Silk Road Youth Forum, and the Silk Road Encyclopedia Magazine have jointly established an editorial board and have successively published the Youth Development Report on the Belt and Road (2021), the Youth Development Report on the Belt and Road on the 10th Anniversary, and the Youth Development Report on the Belt and Road (2024). These efforts have pioneered the new research field of Silk Road Youth Studies. To date, over 100 distinguished leaders have participated as guests in related events and projects, including the Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and the Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference of China; the Vice Prime Minister of Nepal; the Ambassadors of Nepal, Dominica, Sierra Leone, Jamaica, and Comoros to China; and the Chargé d'Affaires of Belarus to China. Young people from dozens of countries, including China, the United States, India, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, South Africa, Kazakhstan, Thailand, Malaysia, France, Germany, Egypt, Ghana, Jamaica, the Gambia, Finland, Nigeria, Zambia, and the Maldives, have also actively engaged in these activities and projects. Hundreds of domestic and international media outlets, including CCTV, Xinhua News Agency, China Daily, China Youth Daily, yidaiyilu.gov.cn, Le Monde, The Times, New York Daily News, Nouvelles d'Europe, and The Wall Street Times, have provided extensive coverage.

The Youth Development Report on the Belt and Road (2026) (Editors-in-Chief: Yu Hongjun, Xu Jin, Shi Zhiqin; Executive Editors-in-Chief: Yang Dongping, Liu Yang), designated as a key publication for China's 15th Five-Year Plan period, is scheduled for publication and release at a results conference in September 2026. Under the theme "Continuing the Grand Narrative with Youthful Promise: High-Quality Belt and Road Cooperation for the 15th Five-Year Plan Period," the Report will summarize and assess the new achievements and challenges arising from youth participation in the Eight Major Steps supporting high-quality Belt and Road cooperation. It aims to portray for readers the roles, practices, and innovations of the new era's Silk Road youth, while also serving as a reference for governments, enterprises, institutions, social organizations, and youth organizations, both in China and internationally, engaged in BRI and youth cooperation.

Based on the Report's outline, we sincerely invite you to submit a manuscript in Chinese or English on one of the following themes:

Practice Cases Led by Silk Road Youth (within 1,500 words): Sharing successful projects, entrepreneurial stories, or impactful initiatives.

Silk Road Youth Voices (within 300 words): Personal reflections on learning, work, and experiences related to the BRI.

Thematic Reports (within 5,000 words): In-depth analysis on specific topics related to youth and the BRI.

Following review and revision by the editorial committee, selected submissions will be published in both the Youth Development Report on the Belt and Road (2026) and the Silk Road Encyclopedia magazine. Authors will receive a complimentary copy of the Report, a commemorative gift, and an invitation to participate in the report release conference and related activities of the Silk Road Youth Forum.
