Let's Keep Going 生命如虹 －－ 影评“末路狂花”

前有悬崖，后有追兵；或者束手就擒，或者同归于尽，两个女人Thelma和Louise紧握双手，毅然发动引擎冲出悬崖，坠落的车身在美国西部的大峡谷划过一道绚丽的彩虹 ---- 这是美国90年代女性主义电影代表作“末路狂花”的最后一个镜头。

影片的开头很平常，家庭妇女Thelma受够了丈夫的冷遇和粗暴，酒吧女招待Louise也厌倦了无聊繁琐的工作，两个好友相携驾车出游。旅行途中频繁出事，先是Louise意外用枪射杀了企图在酒吧门外强奸Thelma的男人，曾经有过类似经历的Louise意识到美国的司法系统不会相信女人的清白，两个女人于惊恐之中开始了西部大逃亡。

然而真正女性意识的猛然觉醒，在于Thelma逃亡途中的一次偶然激情。Thelma对Brad Pitt扮演的小白脸一见钟情，旅馆的一夜激情之后Pitt窃走她身上所有的6600美元现金逃之夭夭，Thelma从美梦中醒来面对失窃后身无分文的窘境，被情人背叛，对人性失望的愤怒达到了顶点。痛定思痛后的Thelma褪下长裙换上牛仔，开始以女人独有的野性方式与社会抗衡。因为身无分文，两人持枪打劫了公路旁的小店，因为被油罐车司机调戏和侮辱，两人枪击油罐车引发了公路大爆炸。胆怯懦弱的家庭主妇蜕变成一位女斗士，两个女人镇定而坦然地以女性暴力挑战社会的不公。

生存的意义在于不断失去自我，不断发掘自我，不断超越自我；意外事件唤醒深藏的人生另一面，往往令人惊讶，刚刚抢劫归来的Thelma对Louise大笑：“I’ve never thought of this.” 两个普通的女人经历了强奸，盗窃，以及美国法律体系对女性的歧视 – 被逼上梁山后走上一段不归的旅途。第一次创作剧本就获奥斯卡最佳编剧奖的女编剧Callie Khouri 意味深长地说：她独自在房间中完成了人生最有意义的一件事，创作《末路狂花》是她与她自己的第一次做爱，她是第一次对自己感到满意，第一次完全爱她自己。

影片以独特的视角诠释和讴歌了女性之间生死与共的豪情和友谊，女人可以比男人活得更野性更血性。生死关头，两个女人选择的不是缴械投降回去面对不公的司法体系，而是紧紧相拥奔向自由；同样在警长三言两语威吓之下合盘招供的Brad Pitt更显得猥琐而苍白。 最后被逼到大峡谷，前有千丈悬崖，后有荷枪实弹的警察部队，两个女人之间最后一段精彩对白荡气回肠：

Louise: I’m not giving up.
Thelma: Ok then listen, let's don't get caught !
Louise: What are you talking about?
Thelma: Let's keep going !
Louise: What do you mean?
Thelma: Go !!
Louise:  you sure?
Thelma: yeah, hit it !!

发动引擎，在车头冲出悬崖的一刹那，两个女人微笑着紧握双手。

Google 良久，没有找到把Thelma & Louise 译为“末路狂花”的高人名字，遗憾遗憾，这个译名再贴切不过

还是90年代好，
反映女性题材，可以看末路狂花。

21世界只能看女魔头了。

不过，蒙娜丽莎的微笑不错。

91年的片子，当时的片子基本上都是用港译的。
这部也应该不例外。

香港人翻译片子，有时候很好，有时候差得不行。
