传说，如果你在这条路上遇到了九色鹿，它会为你指引方向。





一条古道通文明



古道漫漫，驼铃声声。自汉代开通、唐代鼎盛，它不仅是商贸往来的古道，更是文明互鉴与心灵相通的纽带——这就是丝绸之路。自长安出发的使节、商人与僧侣，翻山越岭，经敦煌通往西域，把丝绸、茶叶、瓷器带向远方，也带回异域的物种、药材等。在这条路上，东西方文明不断碰撞交融，汇聚成多元璀璨的历史篇章。



黄沙深处，古道犹在。今天，中华文明探源者元曦追随着九色鹿，在遗落的汉简与斑驳的壁画之间，触碰丝绸之路千年的脉动。

Deep in the desert, the ancient road still remains. Today, Yuanxi, China Daily's digital host, follows the Nine-Colored Deer. Between lost bamboo and wooden slips of the Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220) and weathered murals, she touches the heartbeat of the Silk Road across a thousand years.



一枚汉简见历史



元曦在沙中拾起一枚悬泉汉简，这正是两枚至关重要的汉简之一“悬泉里程简”，它与“居延里程简”一同勾勒出汉代丝绸之路东段、长安至敦煌的具体线路走向和重要节点，成为丝绸之路存在的重要佐证。

Yuanxi picks up a bamboo and wooden slips of the Han Dynasty at the Xuanquanzhi Ruins. It is one of the two key bamboo and wooden slips that maps the eastern section of the Silk Road in Han Dynasty, from Chang'an to Dunhuang. These slips provide crucial evidence for the existence of the Silk Road.



汉简将元曦带回到千年前的悬泉驿，这里是补给之所，也是通信、军务和外交的枢纽。公元前1世纪，中国首位女外交家冯嫽也曾在此留下足迹，让这片戈壁见证了别样的智慧与风采。





丝路贸易背后的全球化



胡姬的舞姿在灯火下流转，台下的元曦看得出神。这是隋朝时期，在甘肃省张掖市焉支山举办的一场举世瞩目的经济、政治盛会——“万国博览会”。27国使者齐聚一堂，奇珍异宝荟萃，它展示了中古东方世界的开放气象，也让西域舞乐随商旅一路传入长安，成为唐代丝绸之路繁荣的重要基石。

The orchid dancer's movements shimmer under the lights, and Yuanxi watches from the audience, captivated. This is during the Sui Dynasty (581-618), at a world-renowned trade, economic, and political fair held in the Yanzhi Mountain of Zhangye, Gansu province.



随着人群缓缓前行，元曦走进唐代敦煌的集市：这里每天三次开市，汇聚来自四方的商队，丝绸、香料、珠宝、琉璃器、药材、毛皮琳琅满目。人们以物易物，尽管语言各异，心意却相通。波斯金币与唐代开元通宝在此流通，蜀锦经此走向世界，西瓜种子、乳香、蜻蜓眼琉璃珠也沿丝路传播，留下了今日生活中仍可见的印记。这座集市是千年的全球贸易与文明交融的见证。

As the crowd moves slowly forward, Yuanxi steps into the Tang Dynasty (618-907) market in Dunhuang. The market opens three times a day, gathering caravans from all directions, with silks, spices, jewelry, glassware, medicinal herbs, and furs displayed in dazzling abundance.





古道 见证历史的每次转折



从张骞开辟通途、霍去病平定边疆，到汉帝国设关立郡、石窟艺术在丝路沿线续写千年篇章，这条道路承载着交流，也塑造着文明。

From Zhang Qian's "journey to the West" and Huo Qubing led his forces to victory over the frontier, to the two strategic passes and four protectorates established by Han imperial court, and the flourishing of Buddhist cave art along the Silk Road over a millennium, this road has carried exchanges and shaped civilizations.



隋唐时期，二十七国使节齐聚张掖，跨越地域的往来在此汇聚，推动着欧亚大陆的文化与思想不断流动。丝绸之路从来不只是商旅路线，更是文明彼此照见、相互启发的巨大舞台，连接着不同文化的记忆与未来。





新时代 丝路以新方式延展



元曦站在丝绸之路的壁画前，那些跨越两千年的色彩与纹理在静默中将古道的脉络重新呈现。正如壁画中的线条不断向外延伸，新时代的丝绸之路也以新的方式延展。2013年“一带一路”倡议提出后，到2023年已有150多个国家与30多个国际组织加入合作网络，古老的通道化作铁路、航线，成为经贸流动与文化互访的幸福之路。

In 2023, China had signed more than 200 Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) cooperation agreements with more than 150 countries and 30 international organizations.



文明的交流不再受限于山海与时间，新的连接方式让彼此的距离更近，也让共同发展的愿景更加清晰。文明因交流而多彩，因互鉴而丰富，古道的光芒汇成跨越山海的文明星河，照亮一个更加开放、互信、共赢的未来。

Civilizations thrive through exchange and grow through mutual learning. The radiance of the ancient road converges into a starry river of cultures spanning mountains and seas, illuminating a future of openness, trust, and coexistence.
