想去参加会议，德国境内的，就因为老板说没钱，所以就初步选那些德国境内的，心想这样费用低，应该好跟老板谈。刚申请了一个会议，但老板说一分钱也没有，我得自己想办法，会议组织方是，参加会议欢迎，但也是不给承担费用。:mad: :mad:

但他们邀请我去做discussant,  我还是蛮心动的，挺想去锻炼下。$考虑$

算了下，估计自己出，也就是200欧左右。。。$汗$ $汗$

大家有自己掏腰包去参加会议的经历吗？或者有什么更好的建议呢？

不是打击你, 第一次听说开会学生自己出钱,而且非常惊讶你居然还考虑是否去.
你们教授抠门的话,劝你申请会议的赞助吧, 如果自己出, 我肯定不会去的.

可以申请会议补助的奖学金，很多基金都有这种补助，你搜搜看

德国国内的会是挺讨厌的。你还不如找大方向一致的国外的会，这样在基金会申请到基金的几率还是比叫大的。

你这个钱应该可以明年退税的时候拿会一些吧。具体是多少就还得请教税务师了。

你是grund finanzierung,还是project的？ project的应该有开会的钱。如果真是没钱确实没办法。

是哈，才发现德国境内的会议更麻烦，很多基金只赞助国际的会议。不过这次有点经验了，下次申请就申请国际的会议，也许申请到补助的概率还高。:)

我是给老板打工，是他的Mitarbeiterin，没有作projekt的，大学给发工资（不知道这是不是grund Finanzierung呢？）。老板人不错，我们没有太多的项目，所以我们Lehrstuhl没有什么钱。不像高理工科得那么有钱哈。:o 而他自己出去参加会议太多了，听秘书说，每年的经费有限，他决定怎么花，这笔钱是在他账户上的。他今年也带我去参加多一次会议。不过，我觉得一个人做研究太焖，很想多参加些workshop、会议等等的。真是郁闷，没钱的郁闷。。。$郁闷$

看了DFG,像我这样，德国国内的会议好像也申请不到补助，国际会议可以申请补助的。

Hello foxtail_lb, I still get one question. You mentioned about the income tax return. I will pay for the travelling by myself. In this case, do I still need to fill a "Dienstreiseformular" from the uni?? Only when I fill such a form, I can get a "Reisekostenberechnung" from the uni, which, I guess, is necessary for the income tax declaration. Is it right?? Many thanks! $送花$ $送花$ $送花$

I would suggest that you talk yourself off to a Dienstreise. Because, 1. the conference weeks won't count for your private holidays; 2.easier to file the tax later. On the side of the uni, there are some insurance issues.

I usually file my tax with a tax advisor. I consulted him at the beginning of this year. He told me, in order to file taxes later in such a situation, you need following documents: 1.the conference description, 2.a letter from your boss saying that this conference is close related to your research topic, 3. all the money transfer record from your acount. I would say, it is much easier if you can register this event in the uni as a bussiness trip.

en, donot count too much on this ....it wouldn't bring too much back. As a reference, for 1200 Euro, you might get around 200 Euro back, supposing you have a standard TVL 13/2 ost salary.

When you register business trip, you should also write and sign a short declaration, saying that you are willing to give up all your money benefit.

I will follow your suggestion, although I will not give high expectation, from the view of tax return. $汗$ But you are absolutely right, it will not accout for my private holiday. :)

If such good English is at the level of illiterature, then I will not dare to say in the future that I can English. :P  :P
