With torn and bleeding hearts we smile,2 r& U9 Q* H# u1 Z2 S* }
And mouth with myriad subtleties.

S1 S& I7 A3 N& qWhy should the world be over-wise,3 p' g8 Q. S6 i- x4 d. e+ L! d
In counting all our tears and sighs?9 b+ c* C% m0 F! S, S/ P
Nay, let them only see us, while
6 ~' M9 a! a# H3 e; o We wear the mask.

We smile, but, O great Christ, our cries# ?( ?! E5 G2 W' ], w5 S; T R
