, }# I+ ]4 ]% t& O4 k D# u3 I: |' }Why should the world be over-wise,; e" g/ U2 `3 i9 I+ w
In counting all our tears and sighs?
6 x+ F5 j7 y/ j3 T2 _3 C, \- |Nay, let them only see us, while
/ ?% J" X( ]9 @ We wear the mask.

We smile, but, O great Christ, our cries2 f8 [8 I1 D5 i2 }6 Y
To thee from tortured souls arise.

Beneath our feet, and long the mile;
